My experience & Qualifications
I practice as an Integrative counsellor which means I start at a person-centred base, but I am able to blend aspects of other main models of therapy. As a qualified Integrative therapist, I am able to be flexible in my approach to your issues, switching modalities seamlessly. This means that this form of counselling is both adaptive and fluid. I have experience of working with many presenting issues, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, grief and bereavement, trauma and other dilemmas.
Yet from wherever we start, it is always you who is the best expert for you.
I am a fully qualified therapist educated to Honors Degree Level BSc in Counselling. My experience is varied and diverse, having worked with people from a wide range of society. This includes young people and adults in areas of counselling, well-being, resilience, mentoring and crisis management. Having served around 300 hours in counselling practice I know if I am able to offer you support or not.
If I cannot work with your particular presenting issue, due to expertise or experience, I will make this clear from the start and advise or signpost to other professionals.
